A-SIDE B-SIDE LTD
A-side B-side is an artist run gallery, project space and studios. As a multifunctional space, we also host bespoke events, run art classes and provide master class workshops. We house a collective of both emerging and established artists whilst supporting ambitious collaborations within an experimental and evolving creative space.

Alex Bindon works in one of the arches along Rotary Walk. He imports and sells vintage French and English racing bikes and Dutch town bikes, as well as providing bike services and spare parts. Residents of HDS get great prices on bikes, parts and services!

Alex de Mora is a photographer. His work mainly concentrates on feline reportage but he also likes to work with humans too, shooting mainly portraits as well as fashion. His clients include Juke Magazine, Red Bull, Vice, District MTV and Cat Party Records.

Sandra Dieckmann was born a tiny Moo-town full of cows, fields and trees in Germany. In a tree house to be precise. Her mother was dangling by one arm when she gave birth and Sandra flopped out and landed on the back of a hawk who brought her home to his nest. There she leaned to fly. That way she made her way to Great Britain in 2002. Since she has tried to act like a human being. Sandra always liked using her eyes, head and hands. Now working as a Freelance illustrator in the UK she spends her time drawing & playing with colours and building herself a magical nest in East London filled with textures, patterns and animals. Her favourite media to use are mechanical pencils, ink, watercolour pencils, collage and photoshop but anything really that tickles her toes. Sandra’s skills have been applied to a wide array of international commissions and projects, which can be seen reflected in her portfolio on her website. Sandra is represented worldwide by her agent Jules Beazley Represents.
